Bin repair delays
There is currently a delay in wheelie bin repairs due to high demand. We aim to process and repair reported bins as soon as possible. We apologise for the delay, and we appreciate your patience at this time.
You can order new or extra bins for your household. Some common reasons for wanting to order bins are:
- you are a new Harrow resident
- your bin has been damaged beyond repair
- your bin has gone missing or has been taken
- you have run out of space and need an extra bin.
Order a new bin
You can order a new bin of any bin type online including:
- General waste bin (green or grey)
- Recycling waste bin (blue)
- Food waste caddy (black)
Need a new or extra Garden waste bin?
You can order an extra Garden waste bin if you have an active Garden waste plan. To order a new Garden waste bin, enter your address on our bins page. Then navigate to the 'My Garden waste tab' to view your options. There is a one-off fee of £37.70 for an extra Garden waste bin.
Still waiting for your new bin?
Your new bin(s) will be delivered within four weeks. If it has been longer than four weeks, you can request an update to your order. You will need:
- your order reference number
- your payment authorisation code (in your confirmation email)
- the date of your order
- your address details.
Order an extra General waste bin
You can order an extra General waste bin only if there are five or more people living in your household. When ordering, you will need to provide:
- the names of all residents living in your household
- the ages of all residents living in your household.
Order an extra Recycling bin or Food caddy
Larger households tend to produce more waste. You can order extra Recycling bins or Food caddies. You will need to:
- tell us how many bins you would like
- confirm what bin type you would like to order
- a Credit or Debit card for online payment.
Please note that your extra bin(s) will be delivered within four weeks.
Order an extra General waste bin (healthcare)
To order an extra bin for your healthcare items you will need to:
- upload a letter from your GP. The letter should outline your need for an extra bin for medical purposes.
