Letterbox
Letterbox is a service for adoptive parents and birth relatives to exchange written information that will benefit the child they all care about.
Letterbox can be for:
- birth parents
- grandparents
- aunts
- uncles
- siblings
- or other adoptive families that have siblings placed with them
Other people who have an important link to the child, such as foster carers, can also use the service.
Each case is different and those who will be involved will be discussed with all parties before an agreement is drawn up. This is to ensure it is kept manageable for all involved.
