Harrow Care Leavers are exempt from Council Tax until their 25th Birthday. They must claim any other eligible discounts and exemptions before applying.
It is different to other exemptions. Children Services make a fund transfer to cover the Council Tax. The bill will not show the exemption.

Apply for an exemption for care leavers
To apply for the discount you will need to:
- Download and complete the Care Leavers Application form
- You can complete the form online or by hand. You will need to print it to sign it by hand
- Scan the signed application form using a scanner or mobile phone camera
- Attach the images and answer the questions on the Evidence form.
