Budgets and spending reports
It is important to us to be open and transparent with how we spend your money. This is why since January 2011 we've been publishing our spending reports. They show spend information to suppliers for goods and services over £500.
The spend data is from the council's financial system. It shows the gross amount, including VAT (Value Added Tax). We recover VAT from HM Revenue and Customs, so the true cost to the council will be the figure quoted minus 20%. Please note that the December 2010 figures are at the old VAT rate of 17.5%.
Which format do you need?
The spend data has been published in two formats
- CSV (machine readable format) is for easier reuse and analysis
- PDF (portable document formats) is easier to read and printer friendly
