Fraud statistics
Published in 2015 by the Department of Communities and Local Government (DCLG), the Local Government Transparency Code was developed to;
- To promote better transparency of data held and managed by local authorities
- To increase democratic accountability
- To make it easier for local people to contribute to the local decision-making process, and help shape public services within their local communities.
