Our online payments service is provided by Capita. They are a recognised specialist in providing this type of service.
When will my payment be processed?
Once your payment has been approved your credit or debit card will be charged. Payments will usually appear on your bank statement within two working days.
Which cards do you accept?
The London Borough of Harrow accepts the following cards:

- We do not accept American Express or Diners Club cards.

What if my card is refused?
Cards are not refused by the London Borough of Harrow. They are refused by your card provider. There are many reasons why this may happen. We suggest contacting your card provider directly.
What if I experience problems with my payment?
If you haven't received a payment confirmation, or if you received an error message, the transaction may have been interrupted. This could be due to technical problems. Please wait five minutes, then check your email to see if you've received a confirmation. If in doubt please check with your card provider.
Do I need to use any new software?
To make online payments all you need is the latest browser version. For example Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari.
How can I tell if I'm using a secure site?

Can I have a receipt?
You will see a payment confirmation message on your screen after the payment is made. You can be print this for your records. If you provided an email address you will receive an email receipt. This also confirms a payment has been successfully processed.
When will my account or invoice be updated with my payment?
If you are paying an account or an invoice then the payment will be reflected within two working days. Parking fine payments are processed the next working day after your payment is received.
Does paying online cost more?
There are no extra charges for paying online.
