What is the GLA London Assembly?
- The London Assembly is an elected body made up of 25 assembly members. Their role as a watchdog is to examine the Mayor's policies, decisions, and activities. They must also check those of the Greater London Authority (GLA). The role champions London, exploring issues that affect daily life in the capital. It seeks to find ways of improving the city for everyone who lives there.
