What is a Street hoarding licence?
- To place a hoarding on a public highway in Harrow, you will need a licence issued by London Borough of Harrow. A hoarding is a temporary fence enclosing a construction site. They can usually be seen around sites advertising new building developments.
Applying for a Street hoarding licence
To apply for a Street hoarding licence you need to:

What happens next?
We will contact you about how you can complete your payment once we receive your application.
After you submit your application we will check that your requested hoardings do not:
- represent a danger to the highway user
- cause unnecessary obstruction to the free flow of traffic (vehicular and pedestrian)
- conflict with other planned works or events.
