With Spring around the corner, it’s time to think about your garden waste. You can now sign up for the 2025/26 annual service launching in April.

  • Year-round subscription launches in April
  • Prices frozen at 2024/25 prices costs
  • £69 for annual subscription

This year we’ve frozen the price which means our reliable year-round subscription remains at £69 (that’s £2.76 per collection) and £34.50 for those on Council Tax Support.

Sign up by Sunday 16 March for your collections to start in April. It’s quick and easy to sign up online at www.harrow.gov.uk/gardenwaste. For ease of mind, why not consider subscribing for Direct Debit so that your account renews next Spring.

If you already pay by Direct Debit, you can sit back and relax – your subscription will renew on 31 March.

Cllr Stephen Greek, Cabinet Member for Performance, Communications & Customer Experience said:

“More than 26,000 people have benefited from our all year-round service. This year we’re freezing the price, giving residents value for money with a reliable service. Once you’re signed up, leave the rest to our teams who’ll collect your garden waste on your usual collection day.

“By choosing our garden waste service, not only are you helping protect the environment, but it helps divert money to essential services.”

Once subscribed, you’ll get a letter before the start of your 2025 service with further information and a new sticker to put onto your brown bin. These are sent out around the end of March.

Wondering what we do with your garden waste after we collected it? It’s taken a specialist facility where it’s composted and then used on farms, parks and gardens.
