The London Borough of Harrow is bringing forward the next stage of development for the Grange Farm Estate and would like your views.

Known as Phase 2a, this stage will see up to 50 new affordable homes built. 36 of the homes are council homes for existing secure tenants from the estate. The remainder are expected to be available to Harrow residents on London Living Rent with stable tenancies and rents based on a third of local household incomes, helping the renters to save money towards a deposit for your own home.

The new homes in two apartment blocks of up to 4 storeys in height will replace five of the existing blocks of flats which are no longer fit for purpose. The homes will be high-quality and designed to reflect the local neighbourhood. The homes will feature private balconies which overlook the tree lined well-lit street, with landscaped communal spaces including play areas.

This phase is part of the redevelopment of the Grange Farm estate which will bring around 500 high-quality homes including new council homes to South Harrow, a new community centre, public spaces with play areas and improved walking routes to the local neighbourhood.

We have already delivered 89 new homes, and this next phase (2a) will see up to 50 new homes being built.
