Tennis is set to be a smash in Harrow’s parks again this spring, with Emma Wells Tennis netting the role of new operator on our recently refurbished courts.

  • Tennis in Harrow to be powered by new contract with Emma Wells Tennis
  • Players will continue to book courts on the ClubSpark website

  • Revamped community tennis sessions to be launched in time for Summer

The experienced tennis provider will build on the momentum established by Premier Tennis (now Courtside) to rally up more engagement with the sport from 3 March.

Courtside has seen more than 4,000 people play on the courts, served 900 coaching sessions, and overseen 2,850 free tennis sessions through its community programme. The new partnership will ensure that residents of all backgrounds and abilities have access to high-quality tennis facilities and programmes.

And there will be even more to love with the launch of a revitalised community tennis programme, set to debut this summer. Designed to encourage participation at all levels, the programme will feature coaching sessions, social play opportunities, and special events tailored to different age groups and skill sets.

Cllr Janet Mote, Portfolio Holder for Community & Culture, said:

"We are excited to partner with Emma Wells Tennis! With spring around the corner and warmer days ahead, I know many people will be looking forward to hitting the courts.

“Whether you’re new to tennis, or a seasoned player, our courts will continue to operate the same way. We’re working with Emma Wells to refresh our community tennis sessions which will bring even more fun and benefits. "
