Comment on a planning application

The public has the right to comment on applications that affect them. Only comments on planning issues will be considered.

You will need to have an account to comment on a planning application. You do not need an account to search for planning applications. To search for planning applications view our planning application search page.

Have you got a MyHarrow Account?

To comment on an application, you will need to sign in or register for a MyHarrow Account.

  • Once you have signed in, navigate to 'Search' under the planning option.
  • Enter the planning reference number you would like to comment on.
  • Enter your comment in the 'Make a representation' section (below the map).
  • Uploads or attachments will need to be in .pdf format.

View and submit comments

All representations should be made online through the portal. This is the best way to submit objections to the planning application.

An officer will consider your comment as part of the application. If it meets the guidelines, it will be published online.

You must clearly state your reasons for or against the proposal. The reasons should relate only to planning issues.

Representations on applications registered after 15th July 2024, will be redacted and published per our procedures. We will not publish comments on applications registered before 15th July 2024.

The planning case officer has access to all comments on their applications and will consider them all.
