What is a nationally registered park and garden?
This is a park and garden on the Historic England 'Register of Parks and Gardens of Special Historic Interest in England', established in 1984. They are designed landscapes (such as parks and gardens) of particular heritage significance. They are protected by planning policies.

The Gardens Trust will be consulted on any development requiring planning permission in these areas.
