Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) and Domestic Abuse

Safe Spaces

Victims and survivors of domestic abuse or sexual violence can also access Safe Spaces. We understand that many people experiencing abuse will not be able to make a safe phone call from home or on a mobile phone.

Safe Spaces are confidential, private and safe, and provide a discreet way to contact support services.

To access a Safe Space, walk into any participating location and ask a member of staff at the counter to use their safe space. You will be shown to the Safe Space, which will be a private room. Once inside, you can use the space in the way that works best for you. You can access resources for support, reach out to family and friends, or make a phone call to get help.

We have 13 Safe Space locations across Harrow. They are mostly in pharmacies and banks. Look out for Safe Space posters.
