Frozen waste in Garden waste bins
A combination of wet and cold weather has meant that Garden waste has become frozen inside some bins. Our crews have tried to empty the frozen waste where possible, but there have been some that have not been successful. If your Garden waste bin has been missed for this reason, please leave your bin out and our crews will return to collect your Garden waste within the next three days. We apologise for the inconvenience.

Why are some bins not collected?
Your bins can be missed for a variety of reasons. Sometimes these reasons can be beyond your control. For example, your bin can be contaminated by pedestrians when they are on the kerb. We understand that such scenarios may not be your fault, however whilst our bin crews cannot verify this, they may not be able to return to collect your bins.
