Diversity monitoring

To make life fair

We collect, store and analyse information about our staff, service users and communities. It provides valuable management information, which we use it to address any inequalities.

This data also shows how the services we provide to the wider community are fair. As are our employment and training practices. 

To ensure our monitoring is consistent across the council, we adopted a set of Diversity Monitoring Categories. This was done through consultation with directorates, stakeholders and service users.
