Introduction
The Marlborough Ward Community Grant Programme is currently open and accepting applications until 4pm on Thursday 28 November 2024.
The Marlborough Ward Councillors, (Councillors David Perry, Varsha Parmar, and Antonio Weiss), have earmarked their Neighbourhood Community Infrastructure Levy (NCIL) funding for:
- The Marlborough Community Grant Programme - £150,000
- The Marlborough Defibrillator Project – 10 defibrillators
- The Marlborough Funding Individual Talent (FIT) Programme - £10,000
The Marlborough Community Grant Programme
The aim of the programme is to award grants to support local groups. This is to help improve delivery, growth, or sustainability. Projects should benefit local beneficiaries or improve the Ward. A maximum of £10,000 is available to apply for in each bid submission. An organisation can submit more than one bid but should highlight their preferred bid.
The Marlborough Defibrillator Project
This project will fund 10 defibrillators to Marlborough community groups/stakeholders to provide this life-saving device in spaces accessed by members of the public.
The Marlborough Funding Individual Talent (FIT) Programme
The FIT programme provides funding to Marlborough’s young residents to increase their participation and performance in sport. Grants are available to assist with costs of training, sports equipment or kit, and competition fees.
