Council car parks and on-street parking

On-street parking FAQs

What if I don't have a mobile phone?

If you don't have a mobile phone, you can pay at a local shop with a PayPoint sign. Look for the nearest PayPoint on signs in car parks or near street bays.

You can also pay at a nearby Pay and Display machine. If you use a Pay and Display machine make sure you place the ticket in your vehicle where it can be seen.

What if I want to park for longer than one hour?

For longer parking sessions your one-hour free will be discounted off your total parking fee. This applies for payments on the PayByPhone app, PayPoint shops and Pay and Display machines.

For locations and fees, see our on-street and off-street tariffs.
